Fiorentina Batistuta (born September 1, 1968) is a retired Argentine football player who played as a striker during his career. He was born in Reconquista, Santa Fe, Argentina. Batistuta is widely considered as one of the greatest Argentine footballers of all time.

He began his professional career with Newell's Old Boys in 1988 before moving to River Plate in 1989. He also played for the Argentine national team from 1991 to 2002, and he is among the top goal scorers for the team with 54 goals in 77 appearances.

In 1991, Batistuta moved to Italy to join Fiorentina, where he played for nine seasons and became a club legend, scoring 207 goals in 333 appearances. He won the Serie A Golden Boot twice (1994, 1998) and was named the Serie A Player of the Year in 1995.

In 2000, he moved to Roma for two seasons before ending his career at Qatar club Al-Arabi SC. After retirement, he became a coach and worked with several Argentine clubs, including Colón, Aldosivi, and Deportivo Maldonado.

Batistuta is considered a national hero in Argentina and was inducted into the Argentine Football Association's Hall of Fame in 2012. He continues to be one of the most iconic footballers in the history of Argentine and international football.
